Privacy policy
Short version: I only collect what I need to reply to you and to understand which pages are useful. I never sell your data, and I never share your app’s details without permission.

What you send me
When you send the contact form (in the pop-up, on the contact page, or at the end of the home page), I receive your name, email, your app’s store link, your average monthly proceeds and costs, your message, and your answer to “How did you find me?”. When you use the app valuation calculator, the app you pick, the numbers and answers you enter (revenue, costs, profit, optional downloads, your answers) and the estimated range are saved when you reach your result, whether or not you add your email. The email step is optional; if you add it, I send you the valuation and may reply to follow up, and if you ask for a real offer your details are handled like the contact form. Every form also includes the page it was sent from, the page you first landed on, the referring website, any campaign tags in the URL (for example utm_source or gclid), the page language, and the country your connection comes from.
Where it goes: the form is sent to this site’s own server (a Cloudflare Worker) and stored in a private database (Cloudflare D1) that only I can open. To spot repeat spam, the server keeps a one-way hash of your IP address, never the address itself, and your browser’s user agent. When a form arrives, the server looks up your app’s public App Store listing (name, icon, release date, ratings), sends you a short confirmation email from apps@sametteke.com (from the calculator: your valuation), and sends me a short alert through Telegram (the app name, your name or email, your numbers and how you found me). When an email reaches apps@sametteke.com, the Telegram alert shows the sender, the subject and a short summary of the message. Emails to and from apps@sametteke.com are handled by Zoho Mail and copied into the same private database, so each conversation stays next to your app’s details. To keep track of deals, incoming emails (including older emails I forward to apps@sametteke.com) are read by OpenAI’s API, which picks out the app, the numbers you mention and a one-line summary for my records. I may also use it to draft a reply: the draft request includes our conversation, your form answers and my notes on your app. I read and edit every draft, nothing is sent without me, and the requests are sent with OpenAI’s response storage switched off. Spam protection may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks the browser without cookies for tracking (see Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum). To work out the range, the calculator sends your numbers, your answers and the public App Store details to this site’s server as you go; the server returns the estimate and keeps none of it. Nothing is saved until you reach the result, so leaving before that step stores nothing. Also: if you type your app’s name into the form’s optional app search, your browser sends that text to Apple’s public App Store search (itunes.apple.com) to show matching apps and their icons; I don’t receive or store those searches. The valuation calculator also asks Apple’s public App Store service for your app’s public listing (rating, number of ratings, last update, release date, category, languages) to use in the estimate. If you pick an app, its name and developer are sent with the form, and in the calculator a short summary of those public listing details is saved with your valuation.
Stored in your browser: your cookie choice and your language choice (local storage), and, for the current visit only (session storage), whether the consent banner applies in your region and the page and campaign tags you arrived with, so a form can include them. None of this leaves your browser except with a form you send.
I use what you send only to reply to you and evaluate your app. Details about your app are confidential and shared with no one without your permission. I keep form entries and emails as long as needed for our conversation and any resulting deal; ask me to delete them anytime. Calculator results saved without an email are kept with no time limit, to understand the market; to have yours deleted, email me your app’s link.
Analytics and cookies
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views without cookies and without tracking individuals.
Google Analytics 4 (by Google) helps me see which pages and sources bring founders to the site. It uses first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years). I don’t send names, emails, or message contents to Google Analytics; form submissions are counted as an event only, and calculator use is counted with a rough profit band (for example “1k-5k”), never the exact numbers. Data is retained for 14 months. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
When I run Google Ads, a Google tag may use cookies such as _gcl_* (up to 90 days) to measure whether an ad led to a contact. This happens only with your consent where consent is required.
Your choice: in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland a consent banner asks first, and Google cookies stay off until you accept. Until then (and if you reject), the Google tag only sends cookieless pings without identifiers, which Google uses for aggregate measurement (Google’s “consent mode”). Elsewhere there is no banner and Google Analytics runs by default. Everyone can accept or reject at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on and manage ad personalization at My Ad Center.
The legal basis for analytics and advertising cookies is your consent; for replying to your message it is your request.
Hosting
The site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and block abuse. Fonts are served from this site itself; no third-party font service is used.
International transfers
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data I hold about you, or object to its use, by emailing apps@sametteke.com. If you’re in the EEA or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
